Dr Charles A. Brusch, personal physician of the late President John F. Kennedy, wrote and signed a letter dated 6 April 1990 to attest the successful use of Essiac. This letter is produced by some Essiac manufacturers as proof of the tea's effectiveness.

"In some cases, if the tumor didn't disappear, it could be surgically removed after ESSIAC with less risk of metastases resulting in new outbreaks."
